pushing boundaries is a good argument and should not be put down. We’d all be back in the dark ages if people just gave up on the first failure. As long as he pays the costs, we should let him be.

If money is not a problem, then why does he not give his rescuers £5,000 after each accident and support them in the great work they do throughout the year. If he does that then people should let him do whatever floats his boat (or not in his case)

I hope he is having to pay back the costs of these multiple rescues. If he is constantly capsising through lack of care, good sailing and sheer foolhardiness rather than just bad luck then he should be liable. The lifeboat crews and coastguards are overstreched enough.

Crazy. You don’t hear mountaineers say if I don’t fall off a mountain I’m not trying hard enough. Sailing is about keeping your vessel upright. Otherwise you are a submariner!

This dimbass has to remember that the critisism from people who race cars etc also have huge insurance premiums, so this idiot should take out a special policy (because lets face it, this bloke it definately a special) to stop the waste of lifeguards time and resources.
