I watched this film not long ago and then started to watch the series, It is great
i loved the film!

The last 2 episodes i have to say were hard to watch, abit .. full on in what was happening, not to spoil
the end but i would have done the exact same.. and long live Combo!

I thought this was filmed in Sheffield though? Apparently it was chosen ‘cos it looked like the 1980′s still with just a small amount of costume work on the locals to update them a bit (I live in Sheffield before anyone gets too offended). Unless Look North has lied to me ……

My husband and I went to the GFT, first day to see the film and the second to see the cast have a chat/interview. Met Stephen Graham and Jo Hartley who signed our tickets and were really nice. (My husband neally had a fit when Stephen said ‘hi’ to him the second day!) Unfortunately Shane was off sick. Still, what a great film, tv min-series and may I suggest a peak at the short but sweet ‘Where’s The Money Ronnie’ as well as any of Shane’s other films. (Just how lovely is Tommy T!?)

But it was mostly filmed in sheffield. Within a few miles of my house! Though large parts of sheffield are stuck firmly in the 80s!!
