Reading the title, my first thought was: “*Sigh*. Another weirdo”.

But upon reading about her intentions behind this crazy act, I think she really has a very valid point.

I have the same disagreements with my father (who is now 70 years old). The elder generation grew up in a completely different environment than my generation did. They married much earlier, they went to one company and stayed there for the rest of their lives, the husband was the breadwinner while the wife was the caretaker, and a lot more.

Times have changed radically, but some Baby-Boomers still expect that my generation must lead the same lifestyle as them. If we don’t, then we are accused of being “Losers”, “Lazy”, “Irresponsible”. Actions like this hopefully awaken some people who still think we live in the 1950s.
