Assange said there were some references to extraterrestrial life in yet-to-be-published confidential files obtained from the American government. He did not disclose what information was contained in the diplomatic memos obtained by the whistleblowing website. It also remains unclear when they will be published.
Mr Assange said his website, under considerable strain in recent days over its “Cablegate” series of leaks, received emails from “weirdos” claiming to have seen UFOs.
Mr Assange’s comments were made during a webchat with The Guardian, during which he confirmed his team were taking security precautions due to “threats against our lives”.

UFO information will be interesting to see. Screw the government. Information wants to be free! We will prevail! It’s funny seeing them scurrying around trying to bury their secrets more and more feverishly every day.
Freedom of speech! Let’s make the world a better place by utilizing it!
The blanket is too small to cover the monster these liars we call our government has become.
Do they really think they can shut wikileaks down entirely? search for ‘wikileaks mirrors’ on the Internet. There are about 20 of them. This information cannot be squashed.
Assange is a hero and will enrich this earth with the power of truth!
UFO information will help discredit Assange and the original source if they are anything other than sceptical opinions. In fact I suspect the USA will be well pleased if this is the sort of stuff wikileaks goes on to “reveal”.
They will more than likely shut it down, but there will be endless places that would host the website / mirrors etc. All you have to do is look at Torrent files and places like Pirate Bay. The website will end up being hosted on a server out in the middle of nowhere, a place that doesn’t have any laws for this thing. Hence how websites like allofmp3.com last so long.
To be honest I’m not bothered about the government secrets. I would love to see the UFO files though as the UK government claim there is nothing available. Can’t wait!
I want to see what they have, if anything, on the JPMorgan, HSBC silver manipulation and GATA. And, ultimately, the Private (contrary to popular belief) corporations known as The Federal Reserve and The Bank of England.
There were numerous disclosure conferences, starting back in 2001, where real red-blooded officials and ex-government employees revealed they’ve come in contact with documents and events that directly prove existence of extraterrestrial life. These aren’t your typical hillbilly crazy grandmas who had seen the lights in the sky. I don’t see why all those intelligent people would come to stick their necks out on actual television, unless they’ve really encountered something they are unable to explain.

Are all those people attention seekers, schizophrenics, forgers or is there some credibility to their words? You decide!
well, I and 3 other friend saw an ufo, it was not just an light in the sky, it was much more then that. this is some years ago, and we was young, but everybody reamember it clearly. No doubt about what it was. I actually saw an ufo some time later, but that is not as clear since I was alone that time. But anyway, I know its real.
I would love to see something relating to UFO’s. The NASA announcement on December 2 was a bit disappointing, though not entirely boring. Though, I would love to read something about the current U.S. financial crisis and any connections the government has in relation to the crisis.
The Telegraph article is a disgusting smear! Please dont spread it further.
It starts by bringing up an irrelevant rape charge. Looking at the actual charges, he is accused of not telling his partner when a condom broke. But saying rape paints Assange black in the first paragraph.
The content of the story is worse. Looking at what the article actually says, Assange commented that many “weirdos” email him about UFOs.
There is no suggestion that the leaked US docs say anything about UFOs at all.
The Telegraph article looks to me like a very obvious smear job, adding UFO misdirection to discredit wikileaks.
I can believe that the Telegraph is bowing to polical pressure, but why is DB blogg republishing it?
