Less funny than sad to me.
Older babies / toddlers copy what they see around them – simple as. You put them in a freakish environment like that, they’re obviously going to copy what those around them are doing. I can’t share your view that it’s a little bit funny – this child will be braindead by the time she’s 4 years old, and it may be 20 or 30 years before she thinks again.
It has probably observed those near the front and is just mimicking them but the cult /Christian organization will be milking it for all they can get out of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As the mother of a 5 yo and a 3 yo, I understand why the toddler is raising his/her hand. My question is why does the guy behind do the same around the one minute mark? Maybe the child is exhibiting early DB mind control techniques??
X
Kids will emulate what they are surrounded by and by people with whom they associate. Look past the child and watch the guy in the background, he too raises his hand in ‘praise’. We are all free to choose our paths, a child needs guidance not a roller-coaster ride they didnt choose to ride on.
Hm- Naah, this baby is way cooler:
Bob Marley Baby : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gd5yN43TqCk&feature=player_embedded
I find the music far more disturbing than the idea of the poor baby being indoctrinated into that hokum. Sounded like an Eastern European Eurovision entry!
I find this weird, funny but most of all painfully sad. I can’t think of the last time all of those emotions were combined…
Thats horrendous that a child that young has been brainwashed with religion.
this is even better!

Obviously she is just mimicking someone.
And what is with the person with the flag in the background?
Wow, where was this footage taken? I’m willing to bet that some people will claim this is proof that God exists because he is filling a baby with his grace.
It’s so weird, her bodylanguage is so adult – for one moment there I could almost picture her as a tiny old person.
This was very strange,
Hopefully she’ll grow out of it soon – it really is only suitable behaviour for babies.
Any chance you can put in a link like with you tube because I can’t get anything on my phone? Thanks.
Funny but sad too :<
Ah, that kid’ll dance to anything….

Poor little sod. Doesn’t stand a chance :-/
What really makes me sick is that the parents are probably so proud of their baby being “such an avid christian already”.
Very scary. To me this demonstrates what toddlers do best, which is IMITATE. I could go on, but it’s best if I don’t get started.
This gave me flashbacks to going to prayer meetings with my parents. There was this one pair of creepy ladies that would pretend to be possessed by the Holy Spirit. They would partially crouch and put their splayed fingers out in front of them. Then as they moved their hands up and down they would go ooooOOOooooOOooOOoooo.
That’s right. They acted like they were ghosts. No tongue speaking or prophecy but haunting. Its a good thing the kids were confined to the upper level which looked down on the prayer meeting because we were looking at each other and stifling laughs.
Hmmmm dogmatic behaviour at the source…
Though it’s wonderful to see how quick children get influenced in their behaviour through their social culture. But in this case a bit worrying too
That is… creepy.
On an unrelated note, who films their baby in church?
Shouldn’t they be praying or something?
Seems fine to me, just a baby dancing. The baby is not being indoctrinated or whatever. You guys are over reacting. The baby is dancing to music like all babies dance to music.
oh yay yet more chance for the christian religion to claim that “god” exists and can fill people with his “power” and “grace”
Got to be American…only in America!…
