Both grand showmen. Tesla gave us the power generators, transformers and transmission lines powering our world today.(died broke) He also gave us the radio (not Marconi as believed) but failed to develop and capitalize on it. It remains to be seen what Derren will give us other than fantastic entertainments and illusions. Personally, I think Derren has the ability to affect us and change our daily lives in the way we develop ourselves into the people we were meant to be. Unlike Derren, Tesla came from a family(close relatives) of Croatian Catholic Priests. He may have been homosexual, but he was totally celibate, having only very few married female friends.
