Never mind the face hair – how straight has her mother cut her fringe on the pictures?!!- My mum couldnt cut a fringe that straight as many of my school pictures have shown.

Kids always have such nice hair colour dont they – Hope she keeps away from the Sun -In and highlighting kits because it just buggers up the texture.

Sometimes it takes official recognition of uniqueness to feel better about yourself. Too bad parents aren’t teaching classmates about nature and how we don’t always get a say about our parts. Popularity is less than self-acceptance. But as a child, she’s doing well!

To J – That comment was an observational one, not a criticism. There is a difference. Your highlighting of my observational comment could also have been construed as observational, had you not linked it with ‘… faced merciless teasing at school’. I could take your editing of those words literally, and feel guilty (which I do not) or I could take them in the light hearted way I presume they were left.
