I see the point of grafting a pollinating partner onto a fruit tree for planting in very small gardens. But the rationale for eight fruit on one tree rather passes me by.
That is so damn cool.
Many fruit trees over-produce one type of fruit, becoming a burden for the average gardener. Limiting a tree’s output usually produces bigger, more flavorful fruit.
