If I have paranormal abilities, why don’t I just think of a spoon’s number? Instead of saying it out loud.
Not too long ago, someone mentioned something out loud to James. Causing him to reassess his own accepted perception of reality, and even acknowledge that epiphany. Whether he has continued to re-evaluate his rendition, or put that revelation down to a one off, I don’t know. Richard, on the other hand, is a tougher nut to crack. Because no matter how many times he is presented with a question he’s never given thought to before. His notion of “the clear light of reason”, results in exactly the same remarkably lifelike impression of a rabbit caught in the headlights of a car. But nothing more.

I’m so glad I have found a mention of Richard Wiseman on Your page!

You both are very important to me as to a student of Psychology because you are showing people that Psychology is something else then cheap tricks and/or theoretical gibberish. Derren Brown shows us what our mind is capable of and Richard Wiseman grounds this by empirical studies, not some unconfirmed opinions of unnamed “professionals”. Thanks to you studying Psychology at the University can be both interesting and academic.
