If I keep an open mind and based on lmy own life experience I would suggest that there are many things in this world I do not understand nor would I want to including disembodied spirits. To me Harry Potter is an allegorical story of human existence on this planet written in a fantastical way for children. As for Yoga it like many things can be used for any purpose dependent upon the intent if its source teaching. There is good and evil in all religions as there is both aspects in all people. I believe that by putting the focus on the positive and the true Satan and his agents are simply negated.

Science was incapable of explaining evil.
As are humans. For you’ll get as many definitions as there are people attempting explanations. Just as you’ll get discrepancies if you draw a line, and assign one end to absolute evil and the other to consummate good. Then ask individuals to mark where various acts should appear.

its a shame such ignorant people are in such influential roles, there is ”magic” in all fairy tales so does that mean they are all evil then? why does he just say harry potter? the things people say out of jealousy. i guess in the end its just ignorance..in actual fact a priest in the US has just come forward to say that hell is an invention of the church to control people. so true

It does not encourage people to believe in magic; its a work of fiction to lose yourself in a world we no dosnt exist (yes even as children)
Its the same as saying Lord of the Rings encourages us to believe in Hobbits

I grew up in a family like this. I wasn’t even allowed to play with Pokemon toys when I was little, along with nearly everything else. “Satans Tools”. Even Harry Potter, books that are filled to the brim with Aesops, just “Tools to draw people away from God.”

I’ll say straight up, It’s Paranoid, Crazy, Illogical, and not one bit Rational.

I’d feel bad for them, but they’re content with the craziness. As long it gives them the comfort of Heaven(Or in my families case, “living forever on paradise earth”), they don’t care how crazy it is.

Eventually, this reasoning’s gonna go away. But for now, we’ve still got to deal with it.

Let’s see what is evil. Ask the chief exorcist how many of his colleagues he has exorcised ? What’s more evil? There need for child abuse and paedophillia in the Vatican city? Also their corrupt nature of covering up for each other. Or a harmless, well thought of story line that Is more popular than the catholic religion! As for yoga they could try it one day it might actually loosen the stubborn old fools up peace;-)

Isn’t this the same guy from Anthony Head’s True Horror documentary? Gets around, doesn’t he? He was just as ridiculous then.

My mother is a religious nutter who preaches to anyone who will listen and even she wouldn’t condemn Harry Potter or yoga. This is the same woman who when I was about 10, grounded me for two weeks because I took the Lord’s name in vain, saying ‘oh my God’ – I find it unnerving that some people are even worse..

I practise yoga and martial arts and I’ve always found them very health giving.
