Click here and mail us. If it’s a totally unique link we will “Thank” you. Get enough “Thanks” and you go on a list. When random things come our way throughout the year (DVD’s, prints, items) I get DB to sign them and we post them to you as a way of saying thank you.
What the heck is all this?
This is the official Derren Brown Blog. It has been created to give you an insight as to what we at Brown Towers get up to, to sift through the ton of miscellany that comes our way and ultimately share anything that we find fascinating, amusing and just plain ridiculous. The blog will be a regular source of news and updates but, not a direct point of contact for Derren himself. He will not be in a position to answer emails or requests, given his work commitments, burgeoning taxidermy obsession and goatee steaming routine. Coops, additionally unavailable for appearances, declines all sexual advances and will not (under any circumstances) stuff, mount or cook your dead pets. Phillis Dorris will though.
Who to contact:
Normally that person would be Coops – but please be aware that he receives literally hundreds of emails every day so he adopts a slash and burn policy.
The other driving force behind the blog is Phillis Dorris (who is an unashamed…). She is open to all your emails be they kind requests, insightful information or spiteful raging abuse – it is all appreciated (or you could just go complain anonymously on a forum somewhere but we won’t find out about that). The likelihood of a response from Phillis is currently 1000 times that of one from Coops – so please email phillisdorris@derrenbrownart.com if your email is not really life threateningly important, but expect a null response if it’s nothing to do with the blog.
Second in command is Abeo (part human part computer)- she keeps an eye on all your comments from deep in the basement and also runs the facebook group and monitors your tweeting and forums. If you’re having technical problems or you just want your ass kicking at Counter Strike, she will gladly do so in her sleep. Other contributors include Giant Alex and The Brain the men responsible for the Derren Brown art sites loveliness and Scrat the genius responsible for the current ENIGMA poster campaign and artwork.

We do get a lot of emails so I’m sorry if a response takes time. Emails sent to the wrong address can get lost. Emails asking how “things are done” will be politely ignored along with the emails telling us we’ve won the Spanish Lottery (we win that all the time without the help of a certain mind bender).

PLEASE NOTE: Derren does not take part in any online communication due to his work with the CIA, MOD and other dark, underground groups with bizarre logos and strange sounding names. Direct contact with him is not encouraged.
Do we have other sites, Twitter, Facebook and all that?
Derren is @DerrenBrown – he regularly talks to people through that all the time. There’s also the Facebook Page and MySpace Page to feed into the blog. Derren will use these channels to talk to people but in general you’ll find it’s one of us. Unless stated here all other groups, fan pages and feeds are fakes, malicious nasty fakes, designed to confuse your mind and ruin your day – and we wouldn’t want that

We do get A LOT of repeat emails – so if you find a BBC news article about “Jesus face found in pot of Nutella” we’ve probably already had it. If you send us a post and we don’t credit you – it’s because we got it from someone else first or we found it before you. Sorry – it’s a harsh world.
Questions on why we chose to post something utterly boring/irrelevant/etc will be mostly ignored. We have no agenda (well maybe a few little teeny tiny ones) and everything should be taken with a large, oversized-thumb-pinch of salt. We are not a news source, Derren is not responsible for anything other than his own posts and will gladly blow a raspberry at anyone who feels we have poorly represented them / ruined their career or been smeared by us because we chose to point out someone else’s article.

Please do not email us as to why your comments get deleted or edited – sometimes the spambots are a little eager other times we just plain accidentally delete the wrong comment and there’s no way to retrieve it. Other times you inadvertently point out something we’re currently in the process of doing. Our full time comment moderator Abeo will gladly slap your wrists and block your IP should you post anything unsavoury or post any comment that might act as a spoiler. And if your the type who likes to turn up in the middle of a >>FUN<< post and start getting everyone down with “real world” arguments – we’ll have to leave you out.
A little reminder that this is a platform is to back up Derren’s ENTERTAINMENT and live shows should also be kept firmly in mind. Some people lose the ability to join in with the fun and we have to leave you at the gate for your own sake. We understand – you’ve had a bad day, or someone said something that upset you – but play nicely or Mr & Mrs Spank will have take a short sharp trip to Bottyland.
We could have the policy that CH4 adopt of getting upset about the word “shite” but then it all ends up sterile and dull. If you turn up and just want to vent of course we’re going to block your comment. Especially if your off topic and want to rant about something Ch4, iTunes, Amazon or any other 3rd party have done and you blame us. Turning up to a website just to rant and flame is pretty lame too – try to find a hobby or maybe help out at a charity – anything that helps cut down your douche-rating is encouraged by us all.
Derren is crap and lame and I know how all his tricks are done.
We’re sure you do and everyone you know tells you that you are so much better than him, surprisingly more intelligent and vastly more talented and … oh wait no that’s not true is it!
When is Derren coming to (insert country) please?
Derren will announce other countries in good time. At the moment he’s concentrating on the UK as it takes a while to brainwash 60 million people. Particularly hard are the ones who don’t own a TV or refuse to leave the house.
Can I get a signed object / photo?
Sending objects to us to get signed is a bad idea as they can get lost or left in one of the many hundreds of rooms at Brown Towers – you then lose your treasured item and we look like bad people. Asking for us to send you a signed item also means you’ll have to get in a queue that is rather long. We’ll get to you but it may be up to a year – if not we are sorry.

How do I add photos to the Facebook Page?
Go to http://www.facebook.com/DerrenBrown and write on the wall. When you click “What’s on your mind?” you get three icons just below, one of which is ‘Photo’. Click this and follow the instructions.
How do I get a picture next to my comments?

Why does my comment say awaiting moderation?
All comments go for moderation at the moment, this is so we can avoid any Enigma tour spoilers being posted that could ruin it for the people who haven’t seen the show yet.
