CRAWLEY, BIRTHDAY

Posted in Derren's Posts

Wonderful steak lunch at Rowley’s in town and birthday treats followed by the loveliest gifts and more treats from the crew. Dressing room decked out with balloons etc, and some really touching prezzies. On top of that a zillion birthday wishes from Twitter. Lor’ Lu’mme. Best birthday ever. Rather sleepy though: wine and champagne and cake has me now dozing off into my steamer as I type.

One particularly impressive gift was this Derren Brown Enigma action figure, made by Jennie and Iain. Amazing! I do adore my group of friends. If it’s your birthday too, have a wonderful one.

Last night (Fri) was terrific: Thursday’s first half a little under-par mainly due to nervous volunteers. Which can’t be helped, and the second was much better. Tomorrow Buxton!

On the road again…

Wow, love that doll! Want one! (bet you didn’t know there very nearly was a Lady Claire doll….I’ll let you ponder that one….. ;))

Well it seems you’ve been thoroughly spoilt, Mr Brown! And why not? It sounds lovely, you work so hard and deserve it all. Make the most of your last show in Crawley and watch those roads getting home!

Posted this earlier, but will post again….. :)

On this day in ‘71,
There was born a special one,
Tricks, illusions and magic did he
start performing for all the world to see.
And soon he was the absolute best
of magicians, he just whips the rest!

Take care,

Cool. The action figure. He reminds me a bit of indian colleague I have to say, but that’s probably the distance. The little glass with orange juice or such.
Still, what is the word action standing for in action dolls. I’d call this a .. xxxxx doll. You may guess.

Dozing off in your steamer while typing. You are a man of many abilities. I feel so humble.

Now then, face out of that trendy bucket and get your ass on stage.

Right, off you go. I’ll try to shoot the channels back into my decoder. fucking canal digital .. I will need a new card probably .. the bastards, stole 3 channels from me, which I pay for. My favorite channels. Happy birthday brown.

BTW That action figure should be marketed in all the toy stores! This will be a hype! I can see the commercial in front of me already:
In a fast american voice: The Amazing Engima Derren Brown action figure comes with slate, chalk, and sponge balls. Wine glass, Bicycle Cards, Koran Medallion, Andy Nyman and Coops sold separately batteries are not included.

Hi Derren! Thursday show in Crawley was AMAZING, and it was also great to meet you outside at the backdoor entrance, you were surprisingly very down to earth and friendly! I am the girl who wrote your name on the dirt on the car saying Yasemin heart Derren haha. Hope you have a safe journey whereever you are travelling, and thank you for our photo, I will cherish it and probably show off with it to all my friends :P
Your Truly Number 1 Fan (and yes I watched all your shows, read all books, blogs, and all…)
