EIGHTH SEVERED FOOT WASHES UP ON CANADA’S PACIFIC COAST

The foot, in a size 8.5 white Nike running shoe, was discovered on Tuesday by two men walking on a beach in a suburb of Vancouver, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police said in a statement.
The British Columbia coroners’ office is conducting a forensic autopsy and other tests to try to match it to missing persons, police said.
Seven feet were previously found along the rugged coast of British Columbia province and the neighbouring US state of Washington, including one later determined to have belonged to a missing man who was depressed. The other feet discovered include a female pair, a male pair and a male right foot.
DNA testing has not yet determined the identities of the others, said police.
Scientists say the feet could have drifted dozens or thousands of miles because human body parts can remain intact in water for years when protected by shoes or sturdy clothing.
“There has been no evidence to date to support foul play in relation to these discoveries and it appears that all remains separated from the body, disarticulated, through a natural process,” police said.

We were lucky enough to see Infamous last night and hubby thought this particular show was the best tour so far. We usually spend the car ride home discussing what we’ve experienced and how Derren fooled us but this show is so cleverly put together we were stumped as to how a lot of things could possibly be achieved.
Derren was on top form never missing a beat, he’s always had the talent and ability to entertain his audience but this show will emotionally engage you from the very beginning …you just can’t help but be moved by some of the things he does and says……I’m not going to say anymore as Derren always asks us to “keep the show’s content a secret” and I would hate to spoil it for other people especially as Derren’s performance always stays with me long after the show has “ left town” and I know a lot of people feel the same way.
@ Robert Perkins …yep I agree…we had to resort to eBay this year but I’m so glad we did ….it was well worth it. Have you tried to get tickets for London? Compared to some of the ebay prices it may work out cheaper.
We both fell in love with Oxford by the way…awesome place beautiful atmosphere.

Goddammit, *a severed foot* should have been one one of our Vancouver Olympics mascots. At least it’s a real thing, not like sasquatches, seabears and thunderbirds.

Curious how all the severed feet tend to go to the same stretch of coast to die.
Well. prefer to find a bottle with a nice mysterious letter or a treasure or such.

I dunno about you, but my feet are yet to fall off by accident. Maybe they do whilst I’m asleep though – that might be it. I just never notice they’ve gotten up and gone for a wee walk on their ownsomes. ‘Here, Feety Feeties, where are you..?’

I’d be interested to know if all the feet are the same size. We could be looking at the remains of the world’s first human-spider!
I once found an eyeball on the pavement when I was young which was bad enough, not sure how I’d feel finding a ‘disarticulated’ (great word) foot on the beach. Ewww!!

Along the “rugged” coast. =) The sunshine coast isn’t *that* rugged.
Is anyone else feeling that perhaps all those zombie movies suddenly might have a little pinch of truth in them.
