Nathan Sawaya is a New York-based artist who creates awe-inspiring works out of some of the most unlikely things. His recent North American museum tours feature large-scale sculptures using only toy building blocks. LEGO® bricks to be exact.

Above is just one of the incredible examples of his work.

Reminds me of the little box with spikes…where you have to press your face against the back of the spikes, then at the front your face appears…

Great reproduction of the cryogenic freeze chamber in one of the Star Wars movies where Hans Solo was frozen by Jaba the Hut.
Just before the freeze, Princess Lay ya had just told Hans “I love you” and Hans replies,….. “I know”

Pathetically, sadly, fanboyishly, I love it. How brilliant to have Harrison Ford on your wall, giving his finest performance in a Star Wars movie… :)

WOW! I used to know a really fat-arsed space gangster who had a piece very similar to the one in the photo hanging in his palace on Tatooine. His was made of carbonite, However, I do think that the LEGOs are far lovelier.

As if someone comes floating out of a coffin …
You have to see them all from a distance ofcourse

Lego … I never played that much with it, but I’m sure I’d have an enormous talent for it … but hey, did not want to scare the hell out of the parents ofcourse ..
