We couldn’t resist this awesome video that really sums up xmas for all of us. It contains everything we feel the festive period is about. Were looking in to asking these guys to make Derrens next 5 series because of the classy production and sheer enthusiasm.

Lolly says:

I see what’s really going on here… Woman with the Billy Ray Cyrus hair is the Rose to an off-camera Fred West figure who is, in all likelihood, called Buck and wearing a lumberjack shirt. He is holding at knifepoint the child of the ginge with the fringe. They promised to release them both without harm if she sang… But, as we all know, you can never trust a psychopath.

Mind you, at least there were no demonic dummies involved.

What comes to my mind is this phrase. “You’re not Nancy!”

How the F*CK did you come across this?!?! Really- what did you search? You guys spend way too much time on Youtube. On second thoughts, you don’t spend enough time on Youtube! In fact I think Derry should pay you commission for the Youtube clips you put on here! I especially like the cut back to the frozen image of the flowers at the end- touching.

Puts me in mind of my school’s “Wassail Evening” 1990, caught forever on video, (stowed safely away in parent’s attic) when there were many awkward teenagers, with dodgy hair cuts (and shifty eyes), singing (badly) under duress!!

Wherever that poor girl is now, I hope she never gets to see herself on You Tube. Which reminds me, must burn said video tape in attic!!!!

Class says:

If this is what God does to you then Jesus Christ!! They can’t even sing, which is more of a sin than coverting your neighbours ass!

Are you even sure they are real people and not just clothes blowing in the wind?

Luckily I had just emptied a cat litter box and had my gag reflex under control…

Seriously though, that poor child. The power of emotional blackmail at work. She knows she doesn’t want to be there but the repercussions of telling her manipulators – I mean parents – to shove it, is even worse.

Katie says:

i also thought about the x factor- there were this extremely ugly siblings singling “time of my life’ and they came to the x factor to share the word of god (or was it santa?)
good christmas stuff

Dons says:

I wish they would go tell it on the mountains, a really high and cold one that no amount of flowery woolly pull overs would save them from! Christmas at their house must be a riot!!!

Lux says:

I had to press stop at the zoom in on the flowers. This said enough about the quality of what was about to be viewed had I not saved myself by being quick to trigger the stop button.

Do you think there is a gun man out of shot trained on the younger one? She looks like she is being held hostage and forced to sing.

I prefer Christmas with Alvin and the Chipmunks (u tube vid) 😀

Oh, can’t see it untill Monday .. must make sure not to eat before from what I’ve read above here.
I searched a while ago on YouTube as well putting in the words Magic Weird and X-mas .. and I came also across a vid from a gay couple .. starting to do something .. erm .. probably very magical to them … the white boxers especially they were (still) wearing .. the old fashioned boxer type, you know .. LOL .. Nope, did not watch it to the end .. they were too gay for me … can’t explain .. like not all hetero couples are that nice to watch . those def. did not tickel my cells the right way … made me click stop very soon .. I was at work as well, so .. erm .. better not to watch that stuff there. Not in that type of mood for sure either. Brrr … And they looked like clones from eachother .. and so extremely soft .. Oh well, the ones that got interested for some reason .. you now know where to find it.

Weird … makes you indeed think of some of the X-factor contestants .. The mother (?) glances a few time to her daughter (?) but the daughter keeps looking at the same point to our left ..

Oh well … instead of telling it on the mountain we will tell it here .. (lack of a mountain) .. Jesus is here (?) .. hm .. they don’t seem too entusiastic about this either from the look of it .. who can blame them ..

Flapjack says:

Given the simplicity of the lyrics, what cracks me up is that they look like they’re reading it off an autocue!
Reminds me of a church service I attended as a spotty youth (more out of car crash curiosity than belief) in which the vicar led the congregation in a song which consisted of 5 identical verses like this…
“Lord We Give you Praise
Lord We Give you Praise
Our hands we Raise to you
And Give our Praise to you
Lord We give you praise”

The vicar then stopped and said “we’re going to stop for a moment and when we start again, I want you to think about the words – ‘Lord We Give You Praise'”
It was as much as I could do not to blurt out “When you put it like that, I didn’t get it the first 500 times… but just run that deep philosophical concept by me once more, I think I’m on the verge of an epiphany!”

C Woods says:

Yee Gads! The singers’ enthusiasm almost blew me across the room. Religion makes people so happy, I’ve just got to accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Why didn’t I ever see it before? The devil must have blinded me.

The joke is that I sing just about that well, but I have enough sense not to do it in public. When I sing, I sing alone —and I belt it out as if I’m Barbra Streisand.
