Hi Derren,
I know you probably won’t get to read this anytime soon yourself but have just got home from watching Svengali in Bristol and it was marvellous…
I do hope you feel better soon, rather sad that you couldn’t come out and sign tonight though, a very small group of us loitered with intent outside the stage door despite the note, we were hoping it might be a trick! Were either showing great dedication or great stupidity…clearly the latter since you didn’t show! Haha you definitely owe me an autograph now…!
But seriously, hope you get well again soon, an excellent show. :)
Also, is there a newsletter or mailing list or something? If so would like to be added but don’t know how to go about it, not sure if anyone could please help with that?
Thanks, Jade :)

Msg from Abeo: There is an old one, but a new site will soon be launched so maybe hold for that.

Dear Derren Brown

I came to see Svengali last night. WEds 23rd, Nottingham. I spent ages trying to get my big wavy hair into good order for the occasion. I straightened it, then I used those big barrel wavy crimpers and lots of the usual product to try and make it look sleek and presentable.

I was one of the audience- possibles in the segment before the interval. How did you distinguish me in front of over a thousand people and possible future video/tv audience?

‘the lady with frizzy hair’.

Derren I have to inform you…

that in context and relevant to the above,

at that moment

you

broke

my

heart.

OK, always two levels of communication mr. Brown, I notice the noding, and it’s not random and not only that.
I can imagine what will be the show, unbelievable I guess.

I wonder if any of the characters are based on you.. Maybe the Dead Bird, Doctor Tom B guy. Hehe. Stay awesome. Mark x

Hello. I would like to inform you that you have a great mind! And do some awesome stuff with it. Nice show, it’s entertaining. I want your books, because honestly… I am forming my own belief system and I believe that some of the things you’ve done have destroyed my previous previous previous ones (note previous, as I’ve been trying to find the ‘truth’ for a long long time lol and I keep coming across new information, and new levels of awareness to what’s actually going on with all these freaks in my life lol) … So props to you and your work. It is well.

Hi, my girlfriend and i recently missed out on going to see derrens show in glasgow despite having booked tickets 6 months previously, this was due to a series of unfortunate events and topped off by missing a great show that we had been looking forward to for a long time. We were unable to attain any refunds and i have been lookin for a way towrite to derren to tell him the story in hopes that he could possibly write my girlfriend Aimee a 21st birthday message to go some way to making up for a bad year for her? Any feedback would be fantastic!

Leanne says:

Went to see Derren a few days ago in London, he was magnificent! Second time i’ve seen him live and both times i’ve been blown away by how much energy and enthusiasm he puts into his performance, especially as his voice was poorly this time. I was gutted that it meant he couldn’t come out and sign but i’m glad he didn’t if he was feeling bad. Just hope he can have a hugely deserved break after the London run with time to recover because he must be exhausted. Would like to send him many get well again soon wishes!
Know it’s silly to ask, but I handmade Derren a card and sent it to the theatre, it would have got there on the 8th, was wondering if he got it? Would mean a lot. :)

Loving the love for Derren in these comments, he’s awesome.
Thanks for an amazing show Derren! Love Leanne X

I came to see the Infamous tour in Southampton (April 11). Derren is my biggest hero, and I found myself incredibly lucky enough to be up on stage with him. Derren was as genuine and charming as I'd always hoped (which proved a contrast to my nervous and shaky demeanour). He is a brilliant showman and an all-round pleasure to watch. The show was sensationally mind-blowing - I'll be sure that I never miss another. Thank you Derren, for everything that you do. Sorry I was so shaky! Grace

Really looking forward to tonight in Southaampton, bought tickets for husband, Terry's birthday. It's not today, it was in February.)

Derren Brown, For my daughter's birthday gift in November of 2013, I gave her a ticket to your show. For Christmas, I gave her a round trip ticket to London from Pensacola, Florida, our home. On my birthday, I flew from the Middle East, where I'm teaching English, to join her. On the 25th of March, you gave us your best. It was the highlight of our First English Spring Tour. No matter how far apart we are in the world or mindset, we both agree...we have no idea how you do it! And we like it that way.

I saw Derren at Leeds on 25th and I am still - 4 days on - utterly blown away by his incredible talent and incredible show! I have never ever had the pleasure of seeing him live before, but I will never miss an opportunity again. Someone as talented as Derren Brown is a MUST SEE. He's mesmerising, spellbinding, inspiring, jaw droppingly amazing. This experience is something I will take away with me forever and a day! Thank you SO much for bringing this show to Leeds! But goin forward, if travel roun te country to see you - you are THAT good :)
