I thought i’d run a caption competition, the winner will get hold of a brand new shiny dvd box set signed by the boss.

I’m looking for the funniest/most interesting caption for the photo above, answers to (please title your email “Caption Competition”) competition closes Tuesday December 2nd at 5pm any entries after that will not be counted.

Derren will be Simon Cowell i’ll be Louis Walsh.

Good luck allร‚ย

Ms G says:

Are all systems allowed? Rules? May we use brain stimulating stuff to boost our core to see to the best captation ever thought up? Is it allowed to black mail or seduce the judges to influence the results? The special X-factor toolkit e.g., comes in handy but is it allowed?
How do you think you are going to handle the stress of contestants the coming days? Lots, I mean lots, of topics necessary (even more than before) … Medical/psychological assistance available?
Before all start to shoot at this (wonderfull) contest ..

Now I wish all other good luck (they will surely not need it, just their witty brilliant selves must be enough …).

Also good luck to the 3 judges … (you know who you will have to pick ofcourse.. *grinning*) .. as you never know what otherwise might happen … not pinky skies, I can tell you that ..

Sue says:

Can I just ask is the person in the photo just a random peasant, or is he someone of celebrity status?

(and I know that the one on the right is the gorgeous charming Derren, before anyone comments).

Why is the guy looking to his left (he doesn’t look at Derren) … or does Derren say … when I snap my fingers at three you will start to feel someone sneaking up from behind …. don’t look …

fifi says:

I haven’t heard anyone be described as looking “luch” since about 1989. Crikey I be past it if comb-over = lush!

I miss the old days when he was going with the fluffed up “flock of seagulls” look.

November 26, 2008 at 1:23 pm
Sara says:

Fifi, I have a sneaky impression that Sue is Welsh… For it is foretold from the great “Gavin & Stacey” all Welsh – speak the word ‘Lush’ only in this world…or I’m just stereotyping.

November 26, 2008 at 1:33 pm
fifi says:

Ah that explains so much!

November 26, 2008 at 1:45 pm
Sue says:

Sara/Fifi: I am not Welsh, and lush is a commonly used word here.

Also, Derren does not have a comb-over.

And is Very Lush! so nerr *lol*

November 26, 2008 at 1:47 pm
fifi says:

I beg to differ Sue, take another look at the picture. There if definite comb-overage.

November 26, 2008 at 1:54 pm
Sue says:

Oh and according to Wiki:

(UK, slang) beautiful, sexy

(Wales, slang) amazing, cool, fantastic, wicked
Your voice is lush, Lucy! I could listen to it all day!

And I certainly didn’t mean the Welsh version. ;o)

(anyhows, we will get bollocked off for this shortly).
