22. Awww! Cuuuute! We used to have a parakeet called Nero, lol. Was always quite grumpy and used to peck everyone’s fingers, haha!. We taught it a little tune. Could never figure out if it was a boy or a girl, lol! I think we finally found out it was a girl, haha! We’d had it since before I was born and it died when I was about 14. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

29. Very beautiful bird! I hope you get as much joy from him as we do our two rainbow lorikeets – Sir Spectrum Sparks and Jackie the Bandit.

    They do need as much, if not more, attention than children… though you do have the advantage of being able to put them in a cage at night…

    My little monster (Gagacrackers – green cheeked conure) is busy destroying my bookcase at the moment. They really do make such excellent companions though, so I’m quite happy to forgive his mess and mischief.

    I was so sorry when I read that you had had to give your previous bird up. It must have been very hard. I’m really pleased with the contributions you’ve made to the NPS also, they’ve really turned that place around of late. Fantastic news.

40. Rasputin is a great name, and he is georgous. I want a quaker called bobby when I leave home, (at one point I wanted one called quaver, but recently I found out they make me sneeze, the chrisps not the quaker) but for the meen time I have my 3 cockertils, (harry, sally and twitter) to wake up to in the morning. 😀
