1. I always think of the woman in the bag having to do an escapology act under the water, or the poor guy who seemed inoffensive but earned the role of a performer;s dummy. Youth can survive such without demur, and the girl who drove inattentively was seized by her own “accident” which evokes fears of being unable to act but only perceive some sort of degradation. Yet, and yet, to achieve anything, so much of Derrens work mimics the real world where one learns from trauma. I just hope this stays in the world of a slap ot punch in the face rather than the world of torture others write about so evasively. Some have the resilience to suffer and learn, or suffer and teach, but I am closer to the world of the lazy, feckless, unable to commit sap who, when the first pains of birth begin, feints.

6. Is this opportunity still there or is it over. I’ve some theater experience also but did not know about this opportunity earlier. If its still open I would be keen.
7. It’d be great to participate in the show or see it live.. Based on these comments, Derren you have a large and secret fangroup in Finland which is ironic because they don’t even air your show here 😀 You should tour here, most of the people are fluent in English.

   I’m having the same trouble with the application form as everyone above. Spent forever on it making it the best i could and i’m devastated it’s not working. On page 4 it won’t let me write more than a word without coming up with ‘there was a problem with your submission’! It won’t be worth sending if i have to cut my answers as much as it wants. There was a comment above that asked if we could email you our answers, you said you’d find out. It would be much easier if that was possible, could you reply and let me know? I’d be very thankful. It’s just i’m freaking out in case the application closes, I’ve been waiting so long to catch an open application for one of Derren’s shows. For me it’s failing on an aol browser,
   will try filling it out on other browsers.

13. Too bad people need to sign/approve .. in a way … The good ones never end up in Derren’s show this way. A few crossed my mind … mouth wathering .. fireworks in my mind (you know that feeling?) … Oh well .. not that we dont understand but we can dream … can we ..

15. This show is super funny and I’m really upset I just found out about it. I’ve missed out on applying and it really stinks!
16. Hello, I shall be 18 at the start of June next year. I would love to do something like this, however due to my age and the specific requirements of having to be 18 am I able to apply now or do you have to be 18 to even sign up?
