Can’t get the BBC1 listings for the 9th Sept on their site yet but I see that for the past two Wednesdays the midweek lottery draw has been on at 10.35pm for ten minutes, which is how long and when the live ten minutes of ‘The Events’ is on Ch4 on Wednesday the 9th. Maybe, just maybe………………..
i don’t think we’ll ever be figuring out what he’s on about until we watch it : ) but i’ll definately be watching the match on 9/9/9 just in case he suddenly runs on to the pitch or something along those lines.

Hah… mind control is one thing, but correctly predicting lottery numbers? That would be impressive… especially since it’s impossible 😛 Unless he uses a similar method to “The System” and purchases 14 million lottery tickets… Which would be equally impressive, because it involves having £14 million…
i think we will all be going out to buy lotto tickets with those 5 numbers from the video…from those 5 numbers we will “randomly” pick a 6th number, which wont actually be random but will be a typical number we will all pick, coz being human we are like that….predicatable…Derren will know already what the 6th number we pick is….
thats what im thinking anyway…im gonna buy a lotto ticket with those 5 numbers and my own 6th number anyway lol! i really dont think they will be winning numbers, but it will be amazing if derren could predict on a psychological level what random number we would pick following that 5 number sequence.

Would someone please be kind and confirm what they believe the 5 numbers to be, as my video quality is poor? Also a while ago we were told to tune it and look especially close at 9pm 9minutes and 9seconds. Does anyone know what that is referring to, like what channel and prog we should be watching or whether that is the blog we should watching at that time?
I also took part in the filming Jelly and Sophie. its been killing us for months. Talk about an exercise in selfcontrol!
The back of the guys jacket is a ZERO, The lamp post numbers are random but up to 49. Friend of a friend worked on the GCI and asked if we saw it, to which i gave him a long list of questions. lol

Grrr, I just moved house and am having problems getting UK TV wired up in the new apartment… for some reason they couldn’t understand when I attempted to explain why it HAD to be done by 09/09/09… who wants to invite me to theirs if it doesn’t work out in time???

Brainstorming: Barclays Premier League = Man U = RED & BLACK = AUDIENCE = DERRENBROWN = STUCK TO YOUR SEAT = THE EVENTS.
I.E. Derren is going to make the audience @ Man U game Freeze in their seats.
I doubt it will have anything to do with Man U for two reasons :
1) They are too big a club to let Derren Brown do “something” with them
2) It says the filming will be done in London

Well I for one am watching the ManU match now, it’s kicked off and if it is a draw then ManU wont be happy after last time they really need to win this one so if DB’s prediction holds up I’ll be impressed but a bit sodded off at the same time.

I don’t know if anyone else has mentioned this…in the trailer for the events there’s the whole red and black thing going on…and in one of the other videos, the one where Derren is taking his jacket off, his shirt is black with red bits on the cuffs, and he wore the same shirt at the audition. Coincidence?

You did it again. Backwards Illusion. I’m amazed that you learned all that text in reverse :). However you are not the first one to use it. As far as I know, Weird Al did it in the Amish Paradise parody after Coolio’s Gangsta’s Paradise. Pretty amazing though.

Been waiting to see this result since I found that site. I’m not good with suspense.
saw the surescore website earlier today… but not being much of a footie fan didnt really think much of it… until my dad finished watching the match tonite.. and was not impressed at the score!!! lets just say i am now very very scared….. kinda worried bout tuning in to the events now! might get “glued” to the sofa and never be able to get up!

He did it for the lipsync. Obviously the text is prerecorded and played back in reverse during the whole scene. All he has to do is walk forward and mime his lips.

I don’t like the lottery mainly because I believe it’s got ‘sod all’ to do with luck. Derren loves to explore and examine our belief systems, so, I’m wondering if he might just attempt to create his ‘own kind’ of lottery draw…how exciting would that be!!
I just can’t wait for it all to start and I’m now beginning to sound like an annoying little child on a car journey who keeps asking “are we there yetâ€
