    Look at the bus… 😉

I think I’ve missed something. What’s all this about a “surescore” website? Is this like the stucktomysofa one and how do I find it?!

Has anyone else noticed the man who calls for a taxi??? He’s got a big white circle on the back of his jacket… like one of those symbols on supposed pyschic cards? Look out for it. I reckon that’ll feature in the events somewhere!!

And on the backwards advert, the car before the bus is driving the wrong way. Weird. I would like to know how he made this advert.

Has anyone else noticed that on the erocserus site http://www.snoitciderpserocsnerred.co.uk that the “Ricky Gervais” lookalike has exactly the same eye composition and top half of the face as Derren does… It wouldn’t be the first time he’s worn a disguise… thing of the “depressed” clown in TOTM or the Mind Reader booth on the Pier… andfor the record… I have all 6 lottery numbers =]

I think the guy on the bike maybe was told to speak backwards or mime it and the reverse version is the way they first made it! The lorry looks like it does actually brake behind derren at the end as he blinks when he worries it might not stop in time! Lol,plus he looks like he has a slight smirk on his face once it has stopped right at the end 😛
Or maybe they put lots of different clips together somehow cos there is so much you can do with technology nowadays. It is a really cool ad though, I luuurve it! 😀

@iain, yer, but would Derren be seen dead in that outfit? I think not! (I could be wrong, I hope i’m not though!).

@sonofsam83, I’m not too into football either, but seeing the prediction site made me need to know the scores!! Scary stuff, wish i was a gambler now!

@CJE – the Sure Score website appears to be one set up by Derren to predict the football results. I only found it though someone’s comments on here but the address is http://www.snoitciderpserocsnerred.co.uk which reads Derrens Score Predictions backwards and it predicted the Man U Arsenal score from Saturday.
Still have no idea how someone came across it though or if there is any reference to the spelling mistakes and extra words on the site!?

Has anyone else noticed on the sure score website if u look closely at the red bit that goes accross the top of the page it says “will it be you” near the bottom; and in the trailer on the bus it says “it will be you”.

I’m not too sure about the surescore site, can we have some confirmation from Phillis/Abeo?

  13. ed F
    30 August 2009

Just noticed, theres quite an obvious cut at about 20seconds when the car goes past the camera – look at Derrens face. Just thought you’d like to know.
P.s. where is the suppposed prediction for the football?

  14. LairyT
    30 August 2009

http://www.snoitciderpserocsnerred.co.uk – that is the score prediction website.

Yeah I did notice that the website says ‘Will it be you?’ and on the bus it says ‘it will be you’.
Website has got to be something to do with it, if you look at the predictions experts name, the fact that the’being glued to our seats’ reference is being used again and it says it will help you ‘beat the system’ – has to be Derren related surely!?

http://www.stuckonmysofa.com – from the advert at the bus stop.
Read what it says on the website. I have a nasty feeling that viewers of the TV show won’t actually be able to get up off the sofa!

  16. LairyT
    30 August 2009

@MaGz – I think the website you put got changed on here because Philis has already commented that it is nothing to do with them & DB, that it is fake. When you consider the quality of it compared to the stucktomysofa and retsehcnaMdetinU site, I say I have to believe Philis

The guy with the big white circle/zero on his back kinda reminds me of that game Derren talked about in one of his shows – the one where you try to make someone look into the circle, which he used to make with his index finger and thumb. Just a thought…

  18. Jacqueenking
    31 August 2009

Has anyone noticed the changes on the original DB website? You can interfere with Derren’s eyes and mouth, making him pull funny / creepy faces – Great fun, just thought I’d mention in case anyone has missed it.

  19. Jacqueenking
    31 August 2009

Ahem – I’ve been playing with it all morning 🙂

  20. Iain
    31 August 2009

@ ef F – Yeah, there is a cut there, maybe it helps with filming?

I have just had another look at the socre prediction site and have noticed that apart form “Wembly” being spelt wrong, there is also a mention of being “glued to our seats”. I wonder what Mr Brown is upto? I can just imagine everyone being glued to their seats on Wednesday and not getting unstuck until the second show on Friday…haha, imagine that in the papers. Derren Brown causes mass absense from workplaces due to “glue” stunt. Maybe he’ll have Coops and the team secretly gluing our butts when we are not looking…ok that sounds sordid, I’ll stop now

I am not sure if it is just me, but the whole back to front theme, reminds me of the book shop scene, in the zucker, Abraham’s film top secret.
Which makes sense, since its advertising a series of top secret events.
    🙂

    31 August 2009

@LairyT – I still don’t know how anyone found out about the score prediction website apart from posts on here. Is there something in the trailer I’ve missed?

    Any ideas anyone?!

    FORWARD-SPLASH.com its another site!!!!!!!!!!!!

    31 August 2009

Forward, backward .. with brown you can go all ways .. doesn’t really matter …

Yes, you appeared a bit stiff in the forward walk (of yourself) in the previous post .. but for a weird reason I excluded you from the check on all things (a bit stiff .. thats what I thought about you in that post .. but hey .. brits ..).

    Now .. the truck …

  27. Berber Anna

Nigel: Awesome (though not very sense-making) — where’d you find that one?

  28. Aaron
    31 August 2009

Another spelling mistake on surescore website is on the “big bucks generator” bit says you to occould be rolling about in it with our big bucks generator” OCCOULD???

  29. CJ
    31 August 2009

@nigel – Excellent! I knew there must be something in that but I just couldn’t find it. It’s all about the”-” in the middle!

  30. stacie
    31 August 2009

I thought if you look closely the “0” on the mans back looks more like a “U”. Therefore, i read it as- Back Man U?

Unless I have missed something. Has no one been to http://www.itwilbeyou.com……NOT http://www.itwillbeyou.info. Its a lottery syndicate website and you only have to pick FIVE numbers! Like to hear peoples thoughts on this

  35. Lady Claire
    31 August 2009

Derren Brown is also an anagram of ‘WN Bend Error’……

and the lorry that nearly runs derren over- the number plate has the same numbers as the seen on the lamp post?

  37. James Houston
    31 August 2009

Not too sure the forward-splash site is legit. It’s registered to a guy in Kilbride called Ewan Howard. The whois lookup is totally different from the legit sites.

  38. CJ
    31 August 2009

“WN bend error” = Derren Brown as well!

  39. LairyT
    31 August 2009

Could someone tell us how they discovered the Sure Score site please?

@Aaron – the bit on the Big Bucks Generator ‘you to ocould’ I took to be a typing error with the space in the wrong place as it should be ‘you too could’. Wembley is spelt wrong on there as ‘Wembly’, also literally is spelt wrong with two ‘t’s as ‘litterally’ and favourite is missing the ‘u’. Also there is an extra word in the text at the very bottom. ‘The’ doesn’t need to be in the sentence as it doesn’t make sense. I also think the bit ‘we’ve seen some interesting numbers coming in from Man United’ is worded oddly.

I’m flummoxed as to whether any of this means anything though!

  40. stacie
    31 August 2009

where are people getting these anagrams from? Are the from the blogs or the websites. I have tried putting all the letters from miss spelt words together but not getting anything.

  41. stacie
    31 August 2009

the http://www.forward-splash.com site mentions the numbers 25, and 47 again also the number 2

  42. LairyT
    31 August 2009

@James Houston – the site is legit because if you click on any of it, it takes you to Channel 4’s The Events page again like the stuck to my sofa one and the man u one.

  43. stacie
    31 August 2009

what about the colours used for the lottery balls. red red green blue blue. they dont correspond to the colours used in the national lottery. Dont know if this means anything,

  44. Gav
    31 August 2009

On the score prediction site, “Come join us at Old Trafford where we will LITTERally be HANDLING the money to you on a plate.”

Now watch the video again and look at the pavement furthest away.

  45. nigel
    31 August 2009

look at what everyones saying ….has appeared on the soruce code on surescore site…when yesterday only had the number 13 message…….and i hope forward-splash is real…..took me hours to find it out lol

  46. nigel
    31 August 2009

on the source code for forward-splash.com is a site called http://www.w3.org/1999 asks for your password when you go onto it

  47. nigel
    31 August 2009

also all sites say they was created 09/10/2009 how is that possible??

  48. Berber Anna
    31 August 2009

Interesting — I wonder whether those comments in the code are for us, or communication between (Derren and) some super secret programmer team or something?

When I look at it, though, Gav, it says ‘litterally’, but not ‘handling’ (just ‘handing’). By the way, literally handing people money on a plate would be quite funny…

  49. Jerome
    31 August 2009

wouldn’t the fact that the show is on friday 11th correspond to the euro millions draw? Not the national lottery.

  50. LairyT
    31 August 2009

Gav – I watched the video again, I see the litter guy but still not seeing what you’re getting at, please can you enlighten me? 🙂
