Off we go
Last night in Chatham, after a gruelling packing up of the show. The in-house crew: Graeme, Neil, Chris, Pete, Frank, Alec were all just excellent. Thank you, guys.
Currently sat in the Ramada hotel (where I arrived to find a fresh poo in my toilet. No paper in there with it, mind.) Have ordered pizza for us all. Tomorrow, off to Hastings. The show feels up to speed, though I was a little under-energy tonight.
Thank you anyone out there for supporting the show in previews.
X
The guy on the far right there looks a bit like my roommate but with darker hair. Have you stolen my male roommate? If so, please enjoy him, but be aware that he will eat most of the pizza and it may have been him who left that present in your toilet.
When you get to Glasgow, I will gladly give you directions to a hotel away from noisy bagpipers. Oh wait, there aren’t any >.< lol bagpipers play cool music though so it's okay ^-^ Good luck, have fun.
Looking forwards to seeing you Saturday mate. Congrats on a good start! especially that standing ovation. Very curious to see what you got going on. What I would give for a backstage tour and an explanation!
Anyway, best of luck. Damn, too late in the day for a shave… silly new software.
Derren,
Congrats on getting the tour all up and running. Glad it’s all going well. I am in Florida right now and counting down the days until I come see the show late June. Treat yourself to late night sherry…
Keep up the good work Derren.. From what I hear from my friends who went to the sunday show, said you were truly amazing.. And I’m sure you will be glad to know, that other then that they havent said a word..
The anticipation is killing me.. looking forward to seeing you at the Adelphi in June 🙂
xx
oooohhh the poo sounds gross! All the best with the show. If you need more energy, I suggest making sure you are getting enough B12 in your diet….if not then supplementation is the next best thing.
If you choose supplementation then go for lozenges, not pills. “Lozenges that you allow to melt in your mouth where most of the B-12 is absorbed through your mucous membranes. Personally, I use 100mg a day”
All the best.
We have clean toilets in our hotels here in Holland. Maybe it’s time you cross that sea and do some shows here!
Oh err…….that’s a case of “Poo Dun’it” I guess. Clearly it wasn’t Mr Brown in the theatre with the Frisbee….
Derren ‘Enigma is amazing’ the hard work that you have all put in will now start to pay off. Thanks for bringing some much needed magic into our lives…..good luck with the rest of the tour.
Sue x
Your comments are getting disturbing!
Drink Red Bull 🙂 ya gottta keep up ur energy. We’re all so excited abotu seeing you. 🙂 Lets hope the next hotels better. 🙂 xx
Feeling a little under energy? Well at least something felt ‘flushed’ by the end of the evening!
I thankyou…
Good luck with the show, glad all is going well! Can’t wait to see you in Llandudno!
The ghost of Elvis has left something in the building again!
woo hoo sunday, woo hoo Sunday, yeh yeh yeh
SGC: If your roommate looks like that, wow… you have quite a good-looking roommate there. 😛
I’m glad the show if off to a great start. I cant wait til you come to Newcastle in June. I now you are going to blow my mind like you did last year. That’s why I had to see the show twice and I’m doing the same again with this show too I’m going to all three dates.. Just so I can try and work out how you do these amazing things. Good luck
Berber Anna: he does a little. The guy with the fairly big beard right on the very right, poking his head in. My male roommate has a beard just like that but a bit lighter. He’s very tall.
Awww…tata for the update, loveley to see!…
you all look a bit pale,
Don´t forget to eat loaaads of fruit, that´s always best…
(said granma)
Am I right in thinking the guy in the blue cap is Coops?
Cheers
Rob
SGC: Yeah, that’s the one I meant. Rather handsome face (though, of course, most of the rest of him is outside the frame).
Rob: I think you are.
…. sorry about the shit! I had no loo roll, so used the curtains. Thought it would make you smile :/
Thanks for ‘sharing’ love…………..the unflushed poo certainly gives new meaning to the concept of “room service”!!!!
Ever since watching the horrifying documentary which showed half -witted maids cleaning hotel sinks with loo brushes, I’ve always gone equipped with can of dettox spray whenever staying in a hotel!! I advise the crew do the same. The ramada clearly don’t clean their loos – yuck, disgusting…………………….
After spending about 10 minutes feeling completely repulsed about the poo thing I’m now finding it pretty hilarious. I’m not going to even attempt to explain why. I have a feeling I’ll be the only one who’ll understand my explanation.
Anyway, break a leg and all that. Can’t wait to see the show on Monday, I’ve been insanely excited since I bought the tickets. I’m sure it’ll exceed my expectations. Although if I’m expecting it to exceed my expectations then I’m not entirely sure if its possible.
(:
Under-energy? If you mean in your performance last night, I have to say it really didnt show!! It was the first time I saw you LIVE and thought it was brilliant…I shall definately be looking out for any new shows coming back to Kent. X
Hey guys, was great to have you here to get the show up on it’s feet, brilliant show it is too, was a privilige to be involved, Derren, thanks for bringing some old memories to life, won’t forget that in a hurry. All the best for the tour.
First time I saw you live last night and me with the gang felt the show was fantastically mind blowing. We would all love to see the whole thing again. Congratulations on a great show and for making the four of us very very happy indeed.
xxxx
Ps come back to Kent soon!!
Hi Derren thank you for making Chatham sparkle on Sunday night. The show was amazing and you were very funny as well, I like you even more now I’ve met you-I was the blonde with her hands in tin foil and I still haven’t washed my cheek! I can see that this tour is going to be very greuling for you and your crew, but what you are doing is so different from everything else out there, it’s almost like a crusade!! So best wishes and I hope you have loads of fun too and thank you so much for coming to Kent, my 14 year daughter thinks you are soo cool now x
I’m not even going to ask how you know the poo was “fresh”. Was it still warm?
I’m still not sure it was right to try and flush the David Blaine book but you can tell it was fresh from the published date.
Cheers and enjoy
Rob
Something else than a mint on your pillow huh?
Wasn’t it a fake one ..
Or the cleaning procedure did not work out as the cleaning staff was already under mind control? Your vibes can distrub other people’s brains, even before you are there ..
Pizza .. no strawberries and champaign .. how disappointing …
tu tu tut…no poo talk pls…mind the weak stomach 🙂
well dont eat it then…. lol
Cheers
Rob
I was at your final show in Chatham and I felt it was by far you best show yet (saw you last year in London [after you had cancelled your Hastings show!!] and a few years prior to that in Hastings).
It was an absolute privalege to come on stage with you (I was the pregnant lady) and made my friends very jealous with the kiss.
I wish you all the very best for the rest of your tour and hope that you are back in Kent very soon.
I think my friend has already commented. We went to see you the last night at Chatham. We left the show not being able to stop talking about what we had just seen and experienced. We found it truely amazing.
The next day at sixth form, us 4 still would not shut up. And our other friends seemed to get a little frustrated about how we kept on and on about the show! I personally put it down to jealousy.
Ever since, I can now honestly say the show you produced was the best thing I have ever seen or experienced in my life!! No exageration.
Thanks for the experience..
