1. nope. but i really wanted it to work.
2. I was stuck in the sense i couldnt stand but i did push and pull my way off the seat but i just felt really heavy and fell back, my friend actually phoned me to check and i couldnt think straight

   as soon as i said yes he made me swear i wasnt lieing and it just made it worse everytime i said “yes its true”
3. I really wanted to be, but unfortunately I have never been one for doing things that are suggested to me, if I do not see a logical reason. I was truly looking forward to it too!

   Brilliant show Derren, even if it did not work on me, it seems you have control over half of the world already. I cannot wait until the next.
4. Not stuck for me. Did feel a little trippy during the screening….what if your house caught fire or some other tragedy struck whilst you were “stuck”?

   I have been stuck to my sofa before however, in fact I actually became my sofa. This was after smoking Salvia Divinorum & was absolutely terrifying & awesome, in the true sense of the word, like birth & death is awesome.
5. Noticed the subliminal skeleton guy on the chair and also the adverts implied sitting down and hypnotism. I did feel heavy and stuck but only for about a minute. I think the video was a red herring
6. Did anyone notice the actual subliminal messages that kept coming up? It looked like illustrations of people tied in chairs or something!
7. Fortunately, we have a hypnotist (Tom Brown) on hand….he’s got her top half working….but les still stuck…HEEEEEEEEEELP!!!!!!!
8. Got stuck, felt very heavy and shaky – but also everything apart from the TV appeared to go very dark for a few seconds after the video – anyone else get this?
9. didn’t work, on me, or my man. there seems to have been a VERY low hit rate, way down within the level that doesn’t come anywhere near disproving the ‘total bullshit’ hypothesis. i’m very disappointed, i feel like mulder, wanting to believe.

   but i don’t.
10. Unfortunately it didnt work on me, i think i was too worried about it, i felt rather panicy just before the video. Pitty it didnt, i was expecting it to work seeing as one piece you did in your earlier shows where u made us fall back worked on me. ah well. do u think rewatching it and trying to stay calm could work?
11. How many times did Derren say, ‘You are amazing!’ with the subtext of ‘I am amazing!’
    Derren needs a new catch phrase for after the magic moment. How about:
    ‘and that’s magic!’ or sing, ‘Ta – da!’
    Derren needs to practice the trick where he magics up an Irish accent.

14. Totally glued from head to feet until Derren ‘released’ me – brillant, scary, awesome. Heart beat faster, tingles all over, now feel sick and shakey. FABULOUS!!!!!!!

16. i got stuck! mental! didnt think itd work but got pins n needles in my feet and one of my elbows got stuck!! my mum and sister were watching strictly but i have got them on ch4+1 now.
17. i was watching the show with my little brother and sister, my step brother and his girlfriend. i’ve been looking forward to the experience all week, really believing it would happen. when it came to after the adverts when you were giving your speech, i started to feel dizzy and excited at the same time. when the short film started i started getting a tunnel vision like experience, everything around the tv was black and faded, and i felt heavy.
    When it was finished and people on the show started to get up, as too did the people with me, whilst i felt heavy and attempted to get up. I started to use my hands to help me, but it was a fair struggle as my arms started shaking, however sadly i managed to get back up…just with a few difficulties. i will watch it again on sky+ alone however 🙂
18. I wasent stuck, but my right elbow was heavy as anything! and i couldent lift my feet, so i couldent walk
19. It is an old trick called the ‘heard mentality’ where the group of people behave because the others are behaving in that way. Others want to show that they are impacted as well and go about showing that they are really stuck
20. I was stuck till the blue screen at the end! I felt like I had no energy and my legs and arms felt heavy – they’re aching a bit now! A fantastic experience and I’m still grinning and shaking my head in wonder. Genuis!
21. I got stuck to the chair! I can’t believe it. I Felt really weird when watching the video and then both my brothers got up no problem but I just couldn’t. It took me a long time to get up again too. Ever since then I’ve been really shaky. That was such a weird experience but thank you

25. I got stuck to my chair. Then I managed to walk to my computer but I can’t unbend my legs. My fingers are now slowly going dead and my back keeps tingling when I’m not leaning against the chair. When I’m sitting down it takes about a minute to get up. Well played, Derren. Well played.
26. Watched the show, cant believe I WAS stuck!! hubby saw it and it was amazing! I’ve seen derren live a few times and was always impressed with the show, this was more than a show! truley amazing.

28. I didn’t get stuck but halfway through the film my set top box glitched a bit and stuttered so thought that might have ruined it a bit? Kinda got a fight or flight feeling before that though. Gonna try again on 4+1 in hopes of no glitching!
29. I wasn’t stuck as such, but my legs were shaking and felt like they wouldn’t support me….took a few minutes for them to start working again.

    Still a bit shakey now…but the ‘releasing sound’ thingy scared the hell out of me…so that could explain that 🙂

30. Yeah I was totally stuck, for a good few mins too. My back still hurts a little. But, even though I managed to get stuck, I still noticed the flashes of the picture of the person sitting down….. Good stuff tho, twas fun =]
31. Worked on me, My legs felt heavy while trying to stand but got heavier the more I tried, I didnt expect it to work but it was the wierdest feeling

33. YES!!!! – I have to admit I didn’t think I would be – my heart started racing, then my arms felt heavy and tingly and at the end I couldn’t lift my backside off the couch – it felt like someone was sitting on me and caused pins and needles in my legs!!!!

    the clip was freaky, made me feel weird. i dont believe the white screen was the cause of it though, i think it was what derren said before it.

    And i could just see what was on the flashes, it was just people sitting down, this must only work on people who arent very intellegent.

36. Didn’t work. Am Gutted. Wonder if having laptop on and dividing attention between show and Internet buggered it. Did make point of watching the “special film” at full attention. Also caught a flash of picture of stuck person or two during show.
37. This is ridiculous! OMG! I couldn’t feel my legs, I actually ended up getting a load of people to kick my legs to try and get some sensation. It took forever and I need help to get up even after about 5 people kicking me loads. It is so scary and still feeling sick and worried.

40. gutted…..Derren Brown has failed to produce the goods and I’ve seen the same thing done 20 years ago at the Bell Language School Cambridge, when I worked there, by a crap magician….didn’t work then either. Most of the work was done before the film was show by repeated use of stuck, chair and telling you how the more you try to get up the more stuck you would become…..the crap magician got peoples hands to stick together
41. OMG what a strange sensation that was. I was able to stand for a second after the video but could feel myself being pulled back, once I sat back down I couldn’t move, my arms and legs were tingling and my bum felt very heavy……

    You are a brillian intelligent man and I am so amazed at what you do.

43. Oh My God i tried it twice and got completely stuck both times!

    The first time it was just my bum adn legs (completely numb) and the second it was my whole lower body from the elbows down on my arms and from my waist down…it was quite a surreal experience! it was only when the blue screen came that i could move again. Now my head feels rather odd, kind of like a headache but less intense.

    A similar thing happened to my sister…but the other one was very disappointed when it iddn’t work for her!

44. How weird I lost periferal vision. Saw the person tied to the chair, but unfortunately I didn’t stick to my chair. Pity I really wanted to. Maybe I wanted it too much!!!!

47. Yeah DIPPYNIKKI my head is twinging as well..
    The whole thing didn’t quite work on me, and although I can move the rest of my body, it still feels like something is pushing my head down. And my back has grown to get a bit heavier..
    The different results are absolutely fascinating though!
