DERREN!! Man, that was mental! I was totally stuck for 10-15 seconds, after many “Oh my gosh” I could get myself off the sofa but when I sat down it was still hard to get up. Hands were shaking for ages after and I wish I was stuck longer because although I was scared, it still felt great! I really didn’t think it would work….. well done!
Congrats to all of you it worked for – hope those of you who are saying you’re still stuck are freed soon!
Did anyone try calling the number?
If so, did anyone get through?
I’d be more impressed with someone who could shift my fat bum OFF the sofa on a Friday night!

no, i didnt get stuck to the chair, but i watched both times and just laughed uncontrollably, to the point of tears.
I’m watching it for a 2nd time on Channel 4 +1 and my feet are stuck the floor!

Nothing happened the first time. Wow.
My arms felt like a dead weight almost straight away but it panicked me and I fought it….. Im such a wuss!!!
The stunt glued my midriff to a chair while I was mixing some paint & I spilled some on me.
Now I’m stuck in the middle with hue.
I’m gutted it didn’t work on me. I kinda felt something during the piece but it was probably due to wanting it to work.
Did it again, I felt stiff but confidence overflowed me. It didnt work 🙁

I think the “subliminal” pictures was a bit too long because I could clearly see a man tied to a chair by ropes twice on the white frames… I thought the idea was that you weren’t supposed to notice?
Think I may try again though, my dad was laughing next to me through the whole thing which may explain why i couldn’t concetrate on it.
I was completely stuck! I sat there looking at my arms and legs going move! and nothing happened not even a flicker of movement not even when someone was madly knocking on my door and yet the whole experiance of not being able to move felt weirdly normal and unfrightning. Like falling asleep but still being awake
I was stuck for over 5 minutes! My husband wasn’t. I was stuck by my back, whilst watching the video went dark apart from the tv area it was very strange!!!
I sort of got stuck it was weird. During the commercial i wanted to laugh and was laughing and couldn’t explain it, then during the film my hands got really heavy then it just stopped. Then when it came to standing up I could, but for like a second tops but my legs were really heavy and weak and just buckled and I fell back into the chair. I tried it a few times and after a while it did wear off before the blue screen. Thank you very much Derren that was really cool but very weird 🙂
I did not belive this would work but it worked on my twice i sky+ (recorded) it on my sky hd box on ch4HD when i watched it live it did not work the second time it worked i could not move and my bad hand (that i injured a few years ago) hurt so much i was almost screaming and i felt ill 10 min later i tied it agin it did not work but then i tryed for a fouth time it worked again but this time even worse i was stuck even more and it felt like some one was cruching my neck after a few moments i fell from the sofa on to the floor fighting it and started to puke up a bit. I do not belive in the type of things along with ghost or ufos but tonight this really worked i still feel sick now,
Didn’t stick, but about 20 seconds into the film started to feel decidedly odd – a tension in my back and legs, a building pressure in my head and a faint buzzing in my ears. I don’t think I actively fought it, but I managed to get up without any problems (apart from the disappointment).
Didn’t get stuck =( Really wanted to though.
First time I watched it, nothing happened, but the second time (on channel 4+) I got up, but felt a bit dizzy and my arms did feel heavy!
*cry* I was looking forward to this all week, believing in it every second of every day! but I guess it just didn’t work for me… =(
I went into a fit of giggles….probobly why it didn’t work….Great show btw!!! 🙂
Sadly didn’t work for me, but I did feel my thighs tense up. Not sure if that relates to the actual process of being stuck, or more my expectance of how the ‘being stuck’ situation would feel….
To be fair, I was slightly inhebriated when watching. Hopefully the program will have more of an effect on me when I’m stone-cold sober.

I’ve been under hypnosis before, so know I’m susceptible, however I’m currently on medication for back pain, so didn’t know if this would affect me. My – very cynical – husband was also watching with me. Unfortunately it didn’t work for me, HOWEVER my husband could barely move. Not only couldn’t he get up fro his chair – he couldn’t move his arms, his feet or even lean forward. It was great fun watching his expressions, it completely overshadowed the disappointment that I could get up. He came out of the hypnosis early into the “undoing” phase. We look forward to more shows!
I just realized, I didn’t see the rope tying the people down in the images (I got the general idea that it was someone struggling to get out, but I didn’t see the rope) and someone pointed it out to me after the show, but halfway through the show I randomly took my sock off, and tied it around my wrist. Maybe it’s just coincidence…

No 🙁 But i watched it again on channel 4 + 1 and swear i felt myself feeling a bit heavy and dizzy, but after the film i felt normal. Does it work when youve recorded it on sky+? Please do it again Dezza B because I felt so gutted after, but I feel a bit better that I felt something 🙂 I Love You So Much ! x x
Nothing happened but I have a one year old baby and I knew if he cried I would have to be able to get up to see to him – perhaps this made me less susceptible.
I didn’t get stuck but when I got up I felt slightly odd. I’m blaming it on my crap ‘non-widescreen’ tv
Did it again on 4+1 and it worked – moved all the stuff in my room that could distract me (laptop etc)

OMG OMG OMG!!!! Didnt work the 1st time but totally did when I watched again on +1. I cant believe it, was an amazing feeling!!

I looked away during the vid as im prone to panic attacks & didnt want to risk it after seeing that girl freak out, but my fiance went with the flow & he got ‘stuck’ he was literally solid, couldnt move & i couldnt push him up either.

Really wanted it to work so watched it twice on a sofa and on a chair. nothing both times apart from a slight heaviness of my hands… though i have been hammering and sawing all day which could explain that.
A bit disappointed. and how did you REALLY do the lottery! If the next trick doesn’t work i think you owe me an explanation derren! and dinner haha 😛
My arms were stuck to my legs! They were really really heavy and I was trying really hard to move them then they jerked a tiny bit to the left, especially my left hand. Was SOooohO weird. Well done Derren! xx

Nope, didn’t get stuck. Did see the subliminals beforehand though, one of which looked seemed to be a man tied to a chair, no prizes for guessing why the video won’t work if it goes up on youtube 😉
Well I didn’t get to see it because my parents have dragged me out to live in Spain and we don’t even have TV here but a friend of mine was stuck for 5 minutes.
Maybe you could do a repeat so I could try it?
The video didn’t work for me but I became stuck as the clearing tone played. I remained stuck until Peep Show came on.
OMG I was totally stuck! Weirdest sensation ever! Felt a bit dizzy and sick in the ad break beforehand, then couldn’t move my arms, hands, bum or legs throughout the whole experiment, though could lean forward. Felt like pins and needles and when my partner was touching my hands to and make me move, they felt really numb and heavy. Also started to cry a bit cos was quite scared and freaked out that it actually worked. When blue screen came on at end I could stand up straight away. Strangest thing that’s ever happened to me.
Why was the 4od show retracted? What the hell happened to it? lol
What an incredible feeling. Thanks to Derren and all involved. I was stuck for the full duration, feeling like my brain wasn’t quite sending the correct signals to the right muscles. Seemed like a huge waste of energy to try and move, let alone stand!

worked again on 4 plus 1……….went into some mad trance and whole body just stoped working wish my girlfriend belived me though o well i am freaked out ,
sadly didn’t work on me 🙁 worked on flatmate though….. in fact she still hasn’t got up – nothing to do with me sticikng a pint of water on the back of each hand when she couldn’t move…. honest… oh, and the language you made her use!!! naughty boy DB
I watched it on ch4=1, I was stuck for a minute, then i called someone to look and was able to get up. It was cool though because I didn’t think I would be stuck at all. Even now my legs feel weird =S maybe because I’m a little drunk? Anyway, loved the show =]
I really didn’t want this to work on me and I didn’t expect it to, but it did. It was such an odd feeling. In my mind, I felt as if I could move at will — but then when I tried to raise my elbow from the arm of my sofa I just couldn’t. No amount of effort would break that contact. I watched the repeat on 4+1 and this time I could move my arms freely but couldn’t lift my feet from the floor or my lower back from the sofa. Well done Mr. Brown, you well and truly mindraped me.

The video itself is nonsense; it’s the sugestion beforehand, so it doesn’t matter on what tv you watched it on.
i didnt get stuck but the 1st time i watched it, but the bottom half of my legs felt weird – like the tingly feeling you get before pins & needles. The 2nd time i watched it my arms felt a little bit heavy & when i tried to stand up i felt like i was lifting with my arms because my thighs felt a bit heavy too.
I could see the guy sat on the chair that kept popping up and I guessed that the woman in the toy shop would pick the girraffe because of the girraffe patterns on the walls, but no sticky 🙁
