15. I voted, although I was a bit like Berber (did not know any of the others either). Conclusion: Derren does not have our souls. My soul is way too expensive for him .. he surely can not afford it ..(that’s even apart from the fact that he is gay as hell).

This is the same forum(DBFF- not the link that has just been given above me) who were undeniably cruel to a fan of Derren’s- she suffers from learning difficulties, and because of this most of them took the piss out of her mercilessly and ran her off the board- that is what the people there are like. Cruel, vindictive, spiteful people.
30. Yes I agree drill! The whole place is just horrible. They have their own little clique and if you dont fit in, they will make you pay for it. You post something they dont agree with and they will rip the shit out of you!

    I heard about the person you speak of getting bullied and was shocked about it! Lots of other fandoms heard about it too and were equally disgusted with the entire DBFF!.

I don’t mean to be rude here, but people that bully others online in such an evil way are usually people who have little going on in their lives and/or unhappy with themselves, be it they are overweight, unattractive, crap life etc- They have this anger inside them that overflows and they projectile vomit it over any soft, “easily walked on” type of person. That is what happened to the girl I spoke of- the people who did it probably fit the above criteria.

    @ Berber Anna: I’m not a ‘fangirly’ or any of the above, I’ve only been there for about 3 weeks and just find it’s a useful resource for information (e.g. I was after the commentary for TOTM for ages and there I found it).

    3 weeks isn’t enough to see how bad it is, stick around- esp in the General and you shall see it all unfold.

    well I have an unhappy life a very, very unhappy life & i have little confidence in my self & suchlike and have a bit of anger inside about what’s gone on in my life

    but I don’t ever treat people the way those of the dbff treat people

    i think that’s giving them an excuse & there is no excuse for their kind of behaviour.

    I have to say I don’t miss one single sole person on that forum one bit!!

37. I won’t give my username out here as I don’t think that is needed nor is it the point, my point is how the place is, anybody could go on there now and see what it is like- the place and MOST of the members speak for itself. People like the ones I and others here have spoken about.

    In a nutshell -fans that Derren would be shocked at and appauled at, grown adults acting how they have and still are. I , for one hope they are all happy in their little clique, but as I said before -probably for the best, then they can’t go elsewhere to hurt others online.

    Oh, and for the record- I haven’t ever been bullied on there or had any rows, I am talking about all I have witnessed and seen it happen to others over the past few years, I watched it all in a biased way and saw who were the victims and who were the cruel bullies. But what is worse is that the MODERATORS sit back and let this happen and in some cases JOIN IN!! Unbelievable.

    by the way I now have a Derren forum of my own where there will be none of the sh*t like there is on the dbff as i am the one who is the admin & moderator & I won’t tolerate crummy behaviour directed at members or Derren
