All done!
The 2009 Enigma Tour finished last night with a great night in Glasgow. Aside from one drunken woman who annoyed the audience and performer in the first half, (thankfully she left after security had a chat with her in the interval) the show was a terrific one to end on. I took a photograph of everyone as a memento. Here you all are:
Look at you, all dressed up and out for the evening. That’s what I look at every night, when the house lights come up. Bless any of you who think I can hit a stooge with a frisbee when it’s pitch black too.Â
Thank you to everyone  who came along to see the touring show. Thank you to those who travelled; who spent ludicrous amounts on ebay tickets or more than they could justify on the regular ones; who came as birthday treats; who queued in the cold or rain; who brought sweet and touching gifts. We all enjoyed this tour more than any other, and are very excited to be bringing it to town. I only managed to get about twenty pages of the new book written, which brings me up to nearly a hundred, but I shall persevere during my days in London.Â
A final thank you to the excellent bar staff of the Radisson SAS in Glasgow for looking after us so well: Ash, Mirka, the glorious Rebecca and others.Â
Please keep the secrets secret and the surprises surprising! Thank you for all being so good so far. I’m heading out for dinner to catch up with my beloved. Much love to the lot of you, and see even more of you in London.Â

Thank you Derren. The thrill of seeing the show still hasn’t worn off and we came to the Blackpool first night so that was a little while ago now. That’s the sign of a very good performer and highly skilled entertainer. Not to mention an incredibly good team. When you tour again, (please 🙂 ), I shall bring you sweeties and not chicken out of getting the programme signed.
Lots of luck to all of you for the London run. Hope you had a great night with your darling, Derren.
Stay lovely.

@Smudger, I like your comment and whole heartedly agree with all of it 🙂 x
I want to see this final show. Will it be filmed for Channel 4?
thanks derren for an amazing show, please tour again, would be really really happy if you do oxford again and a signing! have a nice dinner 🙂
Am going to make sure when my brother sees the show in London that he doesn’t tell me a thing about it as I shall have to wait for the DVD (assuming there will be one?)
Am glad the tour has been so successful and good luck for the all the shows in London. Just wish I could have been there…..
Take care,
LC x
Thank you for a fantastically entertaining night on Sunday. You blew the socks off the audience. Not only entertaining but funny, surprising and left us all on a high!
I took my son as a reward for an excellent school report and he said it was the best thing he’s ever seen. We can’t stop talking about it (but only to each other – we made a promise!)
Thanks again, you worked really hard and we appreciated every minute of it!
Congratulations Derren and Crew on finishing the tour. It was Fabulous! Still thinking about it now and I saw it end of April! Good luck in London I’m sure it will be just as amazing. Cant wait to buy the DVD when it comes out. xx
Thank you Derren and team for all the hard work you put into the show – it was utterly fantastic. We saw you in Plymouth and I don’t think there was an empty seat in the whole place until the end when everyone was out of their seat cheering for you. Good luck with the London shows and hopefully we’ll see you again in a couple of years.
Sarah 🙂
Congratulations on the tour! That must be the most daunting and frightening photograph I have ever seen. “Look, look everyone is watching you, do something… anything quick…entertain me!” Scary… I’m glad I had the audience prospective. Not everyone can do what you do and I’m not talking about reading minds! I
applaud you and not for the first time, keep up the good work.
The show was fantastic. Me and my boyfriend saw you in Nottingham. First live show we had seen and will definitely not be the last. Wish you well with the London shows. You are truly amazing!!
So glad that you all enjoyed the tour so much; me and my housemates saw you in Manchester on the 1st of may and haven’t stopped talking about it since. I have to say it was one of the most entertaining nights of my 19 years on this planet; a huge thank you to all involved in the show for making it so enjoyable.
Hope the London shows prove to be as enjoyable as the tour, can’t wait to see what you come up with next.
Much love and many hugs
xxxx
Fabulous show – you totally blew me away!
Vicki xx
P.S. Thanks for the Coin!
Thank you Derren and the team for putting on an AMAZING show.
We came to see you in Northampton, i have wanted to see you for years – ever since i saw the Gathering on TV, and i have been some what unlucky when it came to tickets (usually finding out too late) however this time round i managed to get some and dragged some friends along – 3 of whom are now rather big fans- having not seen anything of yours before (must have been hiding under a rock somewhere, and i said friends … i use the term loosely) We have been discussing you and the show since and i’m sure your book will keep us entertained on holiday!
Thank you once again and hopefully another tour is not too far off and Northampton is a stop on the way 🙂 x
Oh i forgot to wish you luck for the London shows – you don’t need it however i shall wish it you anyway – GOOD LUCK.
Truly amazing show Derren. The feeling of excitement will not wear off for a long time I’m sure.
I have never felt such an overwhelming urge to stand up and clap until my hands were sore! Cannot wait to see the DVD if there is one.
And please come back to Glasgow again 🙂
Love Lynsey xx

Hi Derren,
I gues my last comment wasn’t posted due to the length so I’ll keep this one shorter.
I saw the show on Sunday and I have to admit you left me baffled. Now I’m the quiet observer type and like to know whats going on however once again there were way too many things at play and I was unable to keep up with the pace at which you deployed each of your persuasive subliminal techniques throughout the show.
The fist half of the show was completely hilarious…couldnt stop myself laughing even if I tried.
The second half I sat silently amazed at how things unfolded nevertheless as promised at the end of the show I am not going to give away what was spoken about.
Thank you for signing my front row ticket outside the stage door.
I’m sure you will remember me next time we meet. I so wanted to pick your brains however you said you didnt have much time when you exited the building so I didnt want to cause any delays.
I wish you all the success in London and hope you can visit us in sunny (FREEZING) Scotland again.
Peace
Asif
And when are we going to have the opportunity to see Derren outside the UK?
Regards from Brussels.
What a fantastic night- utterly phenomenal!
The drunken woman was a total arse- especially once my brother replied to Derren’s question by calling her an arsehole- but thanks to all those others in the front rows who helped get her and her friend chucked out. Apologies to Derren- we are not all drunken idiots :0)
Completely loved the show, was awesome to see Mr Brown live- just as fabulous in the flesh (and very dashing! I’m in love with him that little bit more now). Total genius!
Can’t wait till he comes back again- until then I will just have to make do with the TV shows, DVD and books for my Derren fix.
*sigh*
