8. What a lovely video!

   For me, I could get up all right, but the chair was stuck to my back and legs, now even going to the shops is awkward as I have to negotiate steering a leather recliner on my behind though the dairy section for a pint of milk! Is there a furniture clearing tone perhaps?

12. I was quite disappointed it didn’t work on me to be honest. Something you said though, during the show, about it not working online because of the “resolution” really put me off though. The internet and a computer monitor would be way more technically capable than a digital television.

14. I was gutted at first not to have it happen myself but I ended up finding a few videos on youtube myself last night and it made me giggle at some of the reactions, especially when people get a bit angry with themselves for not moving!

24. Hmm, although if I REALLY swallowed my self-consciousness (difficult) and rigged up a vid, I could tape myself and try again (as I have the show on DVD). I’ve not tried it again yet.
    Perhaps I may get well and truly stuck to my seat this time if I make sure I don’t have a big ginger tom cat lying asleep up on the back of the chair behind my head like before! 😀

28. I got stuck, and it was awesome! I wonder if Derren ever watched the sticking to the sofa video to see if he got stuck? My sister and mum were too scared to watch it, haha! They thought they’d be stuck for ever or something (I wouldn’t mind – No school!)

37. Hey, is it possible to get a downloadable version of the segment? I watched it online, so it was too low-res to work, apparently. Downloading it would make for some interesting ideas: stick it on the TV in the middle of a party? Make it into an iPhone app? 😀

40. Well done Vicky, don’t worry about the comment sweetheart, a friend of mine also started to cry when she couldn’t get up. Its a normal reaction and many more people wished it had worked on them.
41. @Vicky Green Good idea for filming it, I didn’t even think of that!! Me, my daughter and my partner all got stuck it was a little weird and really didn’t think it would work. I was only stuck for about 5 mins so it must have been really scary for you being longer. Don’t let it get to you about the nasty comments they are just jealous and sad!!

    hehehehe .. its horrible 🙁 it was very very scary i didnt know how to react .. it was a sudden realisation that i had no control over my legs .. i wanted so badly to get up
    i just couldnt !!
    it was very weird
    i could lift up my bum but it was just underneath my knees that wouldnt come away from the chair !
    it felt like someone was sat on my knees .. it was very very strange !!
